Well popped to the farm very briefly today and took a couple more pics.. ill upload them later.. however, looked at the colour code today took a pic of that too.. and looking at it even after a rub away of crap and removing a damp rag - not good for encouraging rust!- i found the letters LTW ... SERIOUS! LTW.. Not sure if that is a slightly rubbed out E though due to the rag.. but defo LTW....

Perhaps the paint ran out on the 'E' Paul, anyway it looks like it is Gris Silex!! Regards, Matthew T.

Must be ETW because LTW does not exist as a valid Citroen paint code

Interesting....you haven't got a rare special one-off factory 'concept' paint on it Paul. A colour nobody knows and will drive us all mad trying to find out what it is!

I love the colour because its a dark colour, and not the useual Green or Silver colour, and the more I see it the more I love it HOWEVER, the issue of no ABS really does bug me very much!

I know its a PITA system, but as an ocasional towing car its a handy thing to have. Prehaps I should just "Try" it out first.

That definitely appears to be LTW.

I always thought citroen powered brakes were very good....like the the DS. I would certainly try it first, you never know....

The colour is certainly a very unique one. But one thing seems quite clear, Citroen 'grey' paint is very confusing. I still have no confirmed idea as what to mine is. Basalt, anthracite or silicone.


Once sorted, it really will be a keeper. Just wait and see.
