I bought this from CAR MODEL in Italy. It's beautiful. The photo was taken from the vendor's site. There are more to be seen there: http://www.carmodel.net/zoomPage.php?NT ... UnLCAnMCcp
I was intrigued by the serial #4/1250. Has anyone bought one?

Well that's only due to supply and demand as they were on offer for a very reasonable €44,00 from 'Otto', but you'd need to add €19.70 (For one unit) for the shipping cost = €63.70 (Currently £55.56 GBP) in total !russ92xmsed wrote:Ah, otto mobile. These are extremely well detailed, but nothing opens. On some models, even the wheels don't rotate. You can join the club and get them for much less, but what tends to happen is model shops and websites buy them up and sell them for almost double.
I would say they are worth it as they are only made in small numbers. They've done a BX too amongst others. Just wish they had done a mk1 24 valver rather than the multimedia. One day I will buy an Otto model.
The photos below are from the OTTO'S website, but as can been all 1250 units have been sold outOtto's Website wrote: If you order more than one model in your order, the unit Shipping price will decrease.
Eg: For a delivery in the European Union.
1 model in the order: Shipping price will be 19.70 €
2 models in the order: Shipping price will be 26 € (13 € per model)
5 models in the order: Shipping price will be 50 € (10 € per model)
Sending by post or carrier (DHL / UPS), approximately within 4 to 15 days.
That's fine with me. I have another one where everything opens, even the roofAh, otto mobile. These are extremely well detailed, but nothing opens.
Buy one from the Italian supplier. I paid 57 euros for the item plus 29 for shipping. Shipping within the EU will be cheaper. Well, it's a collector's item which will only get more expensive from now on. Anyway, that's how I justified the purchaseruss92xmsed wrote:Technically sold out, but will be available elsewhere for much more. As you say, they will be on Ebay for a while yet.
Bit frustrating, really very nice model cars.
