Ahh but the secret of dry rams is to repair them with a part of an XM :D :D Once they have that magic ingredient they're never again a problem....

You live with an Activa's antics for the pleasure of driving one. They are unparalleled...

I agree Paul, I have to see what all the fuss is all about....much the same as the 24 Valver. Never been in one of those.

24valver what Russ??? XM or Xantia? The XM S1 24v engine s VERY different to the 24v in the Xantia Later S2 XM...

24v in the XM... Its just something else.. the words Brown Pants can come to mind actually!

Shame Russ... Unless my Heart returns to the 24v she MAY make CXM Rally this year.

Ill be putting the new SD on in place of the Xantia Insurance, and the 24v still has a classic policy running on it, so shes subject to a fuel pipe leak repair, welding on the floor under the centre pillars, and tyres... ALL the rear end welding is done!

Need to find some GOOD quailty fuel pipe, because she is leaking behind the Air Con compressor, just behind the rear head...

The S1 24v is some performer for size of car, if you read the figures of 0-60 in 7.5 seconds and 150mph speed ITS TRUE! They DO IT! ;)

Gentlemen, at the next rally to which I take my Activa you can see for yourselves what the fuss is all about..

And Paul, the TCT is a lovely engine. I can't understand your prejudice...

I know, hence why I need to experience one. You'll get there with the 24v. Glad your keeping the SD for a bit.
