I just buy them because I like them. I don't keep them in their boxes either but enjoy them as model cars.

I do find they need a lot of dusting though and that can be quite time-consuming and has to be done with care...

Yeah, especially when you have nearly 90 of them. :?
I wait till they are all grey and then can't stand it any longer and they get a clean.
All the boxes are in the loft. Beats proper insulation!

Last purchase was a norev 16V Renault Clio mk1. Excellent model
Next either Mk1 CX GTI, OR Renault 30....yes 30!!!! Not available yet either of them.

I bought one of the Otto XM multimedia models today. The seller listed it on ebay for £79.99, I submitted an offer of £70 which was accepted. I offered to collect it in person and as they (the sellers) were at a toy and collectors at the Reebok stadium in Bolton I popped down in the XM today. They then let me have it for £65. Result!!

Thanks Jim. It will be keeping the Otto BX4TC company. Just wish they would produce a BX 16 valve phase 1 in white, then I would be very happy. :-)

Why did they reduce the price, because you have an XM?

Don't think so. Saved them the postage costs I suppose. It was free p&p but I fancied a run out to the collectors fair. I explained to the guy at the entrance that I was just collecting something that I'd bought online and he let me in for free. So I had a good look around as well. As Hannibal Smith once said, "I love it when a plan comes together".
