Good luck Mark! Best bit of advice I can give any prospective Xantia owner is to not bother with an Activa! A nice series 1 vsx 1.9 TD is hard to beat!

Mine hasn't (yet) but by gosh it's been a close-run thing on occasions...

By way of explanation, an Activa is really an XM cunningly disguised as a Xantia... They behave in very similar ways and have some very similar traits...

I have yet to sample the delights of an Activa. Hopefully Jims kind offer will remedy that. But my two ideal Xantia models...V6 for the noise :D and a sinker VSX ideally.

Activas are more heart ache than XMs Jim! Don't be tarnishing the xms exceptional reputation by saying its a xantia activa in disguise :lol:

Sinker Xantias are the way forward though. I would love a nice 1.9 D base car like our first Xantia in 1993.
