Prima facie Russ it shouldn't be too hard to wire in a soft code receiver from an S1 Xantia say... It's the same wire count as far as I know and should be straightforward but of course this is an XM we're talking about again...

Paul (CitroenXM) is the person to talk to as he's very wise about S1 Xantia IR receivers...

Well this is my thinking Jim, hopefully use a Xantia one. But as you say..we are dealing with an XM here!

Question, is a mk1 Xantia soft code? No idea come to think of it..

Yes they are Russ if my understanding of soft code is that any compatible PLIP can be trained to them..

I must be blind...because I have just noticed today, that my speedo needle doesn't flicker as badly as it was. Must have done something right when I took it all apart ages ago. Nice surprise.

Mind you, this is a huge clue at how much I haven't been driving it recently.

I must make the effort to take it out more. But as you say, not really fair using it in this miserable weather!....Less likely this week too. Cheltenham Gold cup is on this week. Nightmare traffic wise.
