I'll drop my nose in then:) Thanks for the offers much appreciated.

But it seems it's best to take that ferry money wise. It's just booked, Penrhos Beach here we come once again! The day after return, the ol' XM will have to pass her NCT, Tuesday 9th. It'll be OK..

Hi Jaap,

The Irish Revenge gave you money back, ready to take it off you again!

When are you heading over? I am possibly going over too, but I haven't made any firm travel plans yet.

On the Friday night 2.15 AM ferry Robert, and yes you know about the self assessed property tax :)

Or are you referring to VRT on a certain blue vehicle following with 'some' road tax, NCT....

I know thanks for reminding me :~) Don't worry. Some people showing off a brand new Chevrolet Spark with cheap road tax the other day....helps us paying that cheque with a smile.
Still have to look into our lodgings though.

I was referring to the VRT scam!

2.15am, what time will that ferry have you in at the other side?

A Chevy Spark! What a classy car! ;) ;) I have driven one, and it wasn't all that bad. Anyway, I digress, I would rather do a lot of other painful things like pay tax than have to drive one of those!

Twice.....I have driven one. The same one....a rental one that my dad rented in 2010 and just recently. I am sorry, it's the worst car I remember for a long time but in a way....very funny. Great to have my dad speed up and see us 2, jump on the back seat with all those speed bumps in Praya da Rocha :)

The VRT ...:) Don't worry, I am Smart (sometimes) too.

The ferry will arrive @ 5.45.
You'll be surprised how many people walk their dog around that time at Phenros beach and how you can sleep on the back seat of an XM. Some people can sleep anywhere.

We've slept in the front seats of my first XM. It was very comfortable.

Recline them back and indeed, a lovely bed...

XM seats are good...

Very true. Better than the bench on the Stena ferry with a big tv screen above yr head (I've found the hidden on/off switch)

And I would imagine better than a lot of first-class aircraft seats that allegedly turn into beds too...
