Me too, and I don't think it will be long till it reaches above that.

I don't think it will be long before diesel passes the £1.50 mark for good.

Interestingly when I was in Egypt I found you could buy 5 litres for 30p - I made some enquiries on my return about importing it, no restrictions on the amount, no licence needed, private use is fine and only 9% import tax. It's the shipping costs that are crippling.
Thats fine Nigel !

If you have a 'Costco card' as everyone does not have one (Like me) and also if there's a 'Costco' near to you, as that may cost you many miles of fuel to get there too !

Bearing in mind there's loads more Asda stores up and down the country than 'Costco' outlets too, and if someone's only after say 10 litres (Five bottles) = £10 , I think the £2 two litre pack is a good price and parking is normally free !

As with the 'Farm-foods' stores in my area don't have their own free parking (Therefore Parking costs ?) as most are in the middle of towns/cities (Also who wants to lug loads of containers/litres of veggie oil to their motor if its not close by) !

:? Sorry! I have actually read the whole thread but somehow forgot about your mention of this!
I was distracted by looking for Citroens in the 1990 run of Top Gear at the same time.

Nigel, If your looking for larger quantity/containers ASDA is still cheaper than Costco !

15 litres for £14.00 = 93p a litre

I joined the veg drinkers this week with 30 litres out of Tesco at £1/l. Car exhaust smells a bit like a bbq. I'm running 50/50 for now but intending to increase up to 75/25 or higher if all seems okay. Certainly seems to start from cold no problem.

Asda site says that big container from ktc is not available and also listing at £1/litre.

I find it varies - my white car hates any more than about 50 % veg - even in summer. Blue car is getting glow plugs before I attempt any more than 10-20%.

if your 2.1TD is fitted with a bish bash pump, then yes! If it has a Prince of Darkness pump, then no.

Getting excited are you Jaap. Just make sure it is a Bosch. You'll regret it otherwise. ;)
