XM 2.1TD Manual on car and classic

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

I work a lot at weekends. This Sunday is London, next Saturday Bristol, the following weekend is York, the weekend after is Perth. ...

It'll be a day trip to the republic I think.

I see that the Diesel Estate is not fitted with a tow-bar, so if your transferring the one off your petrol estate you need to amend your FOR-SALE thread details and give the thread a 'nudge with an updated' post !

Good luck with both the pick up of the diesel one and hopefully a quick sale on the petrol one !

:)

Hi Campbell,
I see that the link to you F/S thread has now been disabled/pulled, I take that that you've made that request ?

I pulled the ad and will readvertise after the new one is home and I can swap interiors, boot carpet, towbar and sun visor. Price will be greatly reduced to reflect the fact I want a faster sale than I would have otherwise needed.

Can't wait for the new one and will enjoy the drive from north Wales back home.

have booked my flight - from Gloucester - and fly into Belfast City and back on the overnight Dublin-Liverpool - Robert, I can bring things back for some XMers not travelling to Burleigh Hall. Have those seats ended up in Stroud yet or do they need delivered?

The seat guy has gone off the radar at the moment Campbell.

I will get in touch with him, and let him know of your offer.

the blue TCT is officially sold and is going to be collected mid April once the seats, towbar and sunvisor have been swapped over to the 2.1TD. Its new owner is a new member of this very forum and I am sure he will introduce himself very soon. He's going from a ZX 1.4 to the XM. The car was sold for a bargainous price to a member of another forum I am on (Autoshite) which reflected the loss of the leather and the towbar.

Excellent, some jump from a 1.4 ZX to a TCT XM!

I know - his ZX is a superb car though, in beautiful condition and a great blue too.

Bonjour! I can't say I'm not bricking it a bit about the size! Looking forward to the extra cc's though!

I'm chuffed to bits about it though, I can trade cow for a good mechanical and rust free car! I don't tow anything either so no need for a towbar.

Looking forward to the drive home (97 miles. Bucks is about to gain another member)
