I think that was originally one of David Hallworth's cars John and here is a link for the ebay add for anyone interested:

There is quite a lot of work to be done although she does looks too good to break and quite a rare beast!

Matthew T.

Re: 1991 V6-24v
It is indeed my fathers old car.
He bought it 3 years old with 30 odd thousand miles on it. The car has done 92k miles. It had sat for a long time before that chap bought the car. I offered him my green one but was adamant that it had to be that car he bought due to the colour.
I pictured the car and sent them to the buyer so he knew of the work that it needed. It was indeed a big restoration project but was perfectly achievable. I didn't know that the car needed welding unfortunately.
Seeing it in those pictures makes me wish I'd repaired it myself rather then selling it as it does look like a nice car. From the listing it says they've done 30 miles in it. It is worth noting that this is probably the only time it's been driven in the last 10 years.
Fingers crossed it goes to a good home

Re: 1991 V6-24v
Wow, apart from slightly mis matched paint and the rust, it looks a really nice car. I do love that colour.
Is that information correct...only 4 RHD 24v left in this country and 4 in Australia.? Unbelievable.
Hope it really does go to a good home.

Re: 1991 V6-24v
I can confirm that the car has never had any panels replaced or painted and has never been accident damaged. It was however suffering from lacquer peel. The nose cone on it was badly chipped but I did give the guy a good one in the same colour with the car when he bought it. The engine and gearbox on the car were great when it left here.russ92xmsed wrote:Wow, apart from slightly mis matched paint and the rust, it looks a really nice car. I do love that colour.

The more I look at the pictures of the car, the more tempted I am to buy it back and finish it off.

Re: 1991 V6-24v
Do it. ...Worth saving it certainly.
It might be the light playing tricks, but to me the nose cone looks darker. Anyway, it looks good!
So they really are very rare then. I knew they were...just didn't realise 4 out of the 11 were road legal.
How many 24V were sold originally in the UK...can't be many.
