tonight I finished off making the new work bench and have started to fill it with unnecessary toys. Still deciding where to put the two vices but the pillar drill is in place and it is looking like this!

Been wandering round the village too - so here's some of the local talent!

It's warmer here!!...just rubbing it in. Cleeve Hill has been coated in snow for ages, but now it has more or less gone this morning.

Loving the work bench. Very good.

It's really funny how you so quickly get acclimatised to the cold so that even a couple of degrees above freezing and a bit of sun feels almost balmy and tropical..

I've been out and about this weekend and rarely in and it feels quite warm to me even though the mercury is still very low. This was brought home to me when it transpires the Grand Union Canal is frozen over and I wondered why my hosepipe wouldn't flow properly this morning to wash the Xantia - one of the Hozelok connectors was full of mushy ice and wouldn’t open up properly

Yesterday was tropical compared to today and its wind! I don't mind the cold as long as its dry.

I was helped by my young angel. She is going to be cleaning the track soon. ;-)
