Re: New Owner - Hi
What Paul is saying is that other than the risk of a slightly seized corrector rod bearing, there won't be any issue.

Welcome to XM custody Sam
You realise it's a lifelong thing? Once you have one that's it
You'll always have one...
Reminds me I must lube up the height correctors on all of mine...

Re: New Owner - Hi
Cheers guys. Eddie, I get that from my work colleagues about the zx, and they always seem shocked when I say I've never had an issue.
The collection trip is confirmed. My step dad is driving me up to Campbell's on Sat the 12th in the morning (fully expensed company fuel card ftw) then drive home again.
Can't flipping wait! Already thinking about audio...

Absolutely. I check over all my cars once a week and leap on any small issues I find immediately before they grow into something big.misha wrote:I agree.Dieselman wrote:...In my opinion and experience XM are reliable cars once the age and neglect related issues are sorted.
Touch-wood I've been left stranded once by a Citroen and that was when an ignition coil on a V6 Xantia failed totally out of the blue as they do. That could have happened to any car of any age at any time...
Apart from that one incident, totally reliable and trustworthy.
