Today our very own "knights of the road" - Will (dieselman) and Jim (citrojim) saved my bacon and recovered me about 5 miles from the x rally when part of my gearshift linkage system decided to shear in half
.....A quick trawl through my phone and a phone call later Will and Jim roll up in an identical K reg xm 2.1td and proceed to diagnose the problem and with the aid of ever trusty cable ties, Jim's "magic hands", Will's expertise of xm gearlinkages, and an improvised ramp and vehicle support, my xm is soon back on the road and i roll into the x rally...albeit a bit behind my intended arrival time I know i said it before, but guys....thankyou ever so much for your help...i was in a sticky situation and you got me not only to the show, but also back home again.
