Hi, I last owned an XM in 1994/5 it was a 1990 3.0 SEI manual... lovely car that was written off by a novice female driver. I never got another one and stayed with CX, BX and of late a Xantia.
I joined here as recommended by CitroJim, I'm looking for an item that I guess is really throw away when one of these great cars comes to the end of the road.
I will post this in the wanted / for sale section but didn't want to ask without introducing myself. I'm looking for the box under the bonnet that holds the BS and other ECUs in it. I don't need a lid just the box itself thanks. The item I want is in the bottom right of the picture below.
Cheers Neil

Just coming to terms with the modern Series 1 and bit Xantia.... another XM hmm.
Mine was a a low mileage under bonnnet fire model

I got that sorted, did the clutch bloody Front head gasket, I was a nice car then a nice young lady that passed her test 6 days before! parked her Renault 5 turbo in my boot... right up to the seats, she had to but cut out... lived to tell the tale.

Cheers, a week on the Xantia looks like a normal car again

You sound like me with CX parts then. Though it's a few years since I broken any cars.

Very, she was insured and later thanked me for not insisting she was done by the police. As much I was was concerned about the car, it was worring to see someone out cold, having coolant sprayed in their face. I thought she had suffered and would continue to suffer enough, and I got paid out for the car so it wan't a problem; just a minor inconvenience at the time.
