Here is a 2.0 saloon (probably non-turbo) being broken near Cambridge if anyone was interested.

Plus a set of wobbly web alloys in Lincolnshire:

It's a crying shame those wobbly webs are so far away else I'd have had them in a heartbeat :(

I really want to see what they'd look like on mine...

If you were desperate for the wheels I could possible collect en route to Wetherby Jim as they are only just off my route to Yorkshire, although it does look like they might need a respray! With regards, Matthew T.

Wobbly webs are some of my least favorite wheels on a saloon XM, due to them looking too heavy. They suit an estate well as it has more bulk int he rear wings.

All the XM alloys a quite heavy looking. Even the hubcaps. I think it suits the XM having heavier style designs. They just don't suit thin spokey alloys for some reason. My absolute favs are the early Italia, second are the wobbly webs.

Go for it Jim. They are a bugger to get on the car, but get some nice chrome wheel bolt covers!!!! .....ahem.....and they'll look good.

Will the rims take 205/65 tyres - the correct size for mine?

If so than I'd have them and if you could possibly collect on the way to Wetherby Matthew then that would be perfect! Many thanks indeed for the offer :D

The rims will take both 205 and 195 width tyres Jim and please let me know what you decide. Regards, Matthew T.

Thanks Matthew but I've made a decision I'm not going to buy those wheels after all...

I quite understand Jim and I am sure that a tidier set can be got if you look around elsewhere! With regards, Matthew T.
