Hi all
Yesterday saw some more progress, the rear door cards are all made up and ready to go in, just waiting on some new clips to come in at citroen as the old ones have been a bit over used.
I got the new stereo in which although you would think is not really important at this stage does mean another part of the interior work is ticked off, its a video display unit with i-pod and steering control compatability although i dont have the patch leed for the controls as yet, its a nice unit with the ability to change the backlight to any shade of any colour which means it can be set up to match the backlight colour of all the buttons in the car which i like, very good sound quality too over the other sony head unit that was there before.

Next the gas strut for the glovebox was replaced with a modified MK2 one, very easy mod that only affects the strut itself, im a bit peeved as i found and bought a nos MK1 strut from a well known citroen supplier only for it to go "missing" in the post

but nevermind. Thats another job done anyway.
The reason for upgrading the door insulation in the first place

It was rather noticable after the foam was broken as it sounded like the door was slightly open so hopefully it will now be better than new.
All of the box oiling is now complete, the Cills are done and the underside of the car and all wheel arches have been scrubbed, de greased and are now ready to be stone chipped and or have waxoyl applied.
Got the rear panel treated and re sprayed yesterday with the bumper inserts back on and light lenses in...........only to remember the light lenses have to be out to get the bumper back on

, well it is about 18months since it came apart.
