Re: The next Citroen
Hmmm, now unless a queue of people with cash turn up maybe he'd like an XM with an MOT Paul, swaps - as opposed to a CX without one! Thats assuming he's a Citroen nutter like us, rather than a sane normal person

Re: The next Citroen
Great work on that. Certainly worth considering seriously - although this coming week is pretty committed. Quick question - would it be possible (and not heretical) to fit a single spoke steering wheel?citroenxm wrote:Ive got a 2.1 td manual sd on a K plate.. with NO abs or Air Bags ..
In grey documented on here i just need to get a clutch fitted and swap the head gasket.
Currently reading 109k .. and beleved to be genuine.. but doesnt matter with a new clutch and head gasket..

Re: The next Citroen
I saw this on my phone as I waited for a train to take me back home after a good 7 hour lunch. Good restoration project and bodywork needed = run a mile! I like the idea of a CX but not as a runaround.marc61 wrote:Here you go Charles, a good economical run around ....

Re: The next Citroen
Right ho - that suits my timing as I am getting a business launched for the beginning of September.
It would suit me fine, especially with the single spoker.
I suspect the engine would be more usable too than the Xantia - although it looks great!

Charles,
I can recommend any Xantia as a good runabout...
I use one for that purpose although it is a V6...
