I didn't know I needed a Black XM V6 in my life until I saw it and drove it. I went up to look at a green diesel estate!

The pics don't do it justice, it has a few things to sort and needs a very good detail to get to the point of being a real superstar, but the ride is just glorious and the interior is drop dead good.

Ah Charles, thing is, Black is my Favorite colour, xm my Favorite Citroen..

The Grey XM SD manual is almost there, but Id like to find another Black S1 car, and this time, as long as its an S1 I dont care what engine is in it, now I know how to build them from a shell upwards..

Sorry, just going back to auto boxes.....with mine, the engine makes more noise than the gearbox. It's the revving you describe Will that is most noticeable.

White is the best colour for an XM, they look fantastic and it shows off the floating roof and band of glass.

Is the rear bumper trim just cloudy or has spots of blistering aluminium corrosion. S1 and S2 rear bumper trims are the same.

Pale metallic colours, especially silver works best, as you say Will, shows all the windows and roof off.

If the strips are just cloudy, some Vaseline works...it makes the plastic all clear again. Although everything sticks to it!


There is a particular shade of silver only on s1.5 cars which I really like. S1 in white is very cool, but seems to cake Mk2 cars and make them look heavy.
Mk2 cars ....it has to be like Jims V6 for me.
