Re: XM work in a week.....
I suspect I would have got there and back a bit quicker...on motorways I seem to find XM's gravitate to the outside lave. Other journeys have meant up to 320 miles cross country return journey in a day with no motorways and only a few miles of dual carriageway.

Hi all, I've run all 3 fuel systems over the past 17 years and the EPIC is for me out front, despite the SED being a manual. None of the other configurations have had to deal with the later imposed emission regulations, none others could, and it still delivers performance, economy and reliability, but the most significant advantages have been the cold start and instant driveability. Neither of the others gave that smooth response during the first few miles of warm up in significant cold.
Not having satnav, and with regard to odometer readings, my daily commute is 61m, by AA routefinder it's 57.4m, the OBC also gives 61m, and avg fuel consumption 42'ish mpg at legal speeds. About 1/3 is dual carriageway.
On the long haul, Toulouse was 1254m by AA route finder, my odometer gives 1323m. Tyres have always been standard 205/65/15 or the 195/65/15 snow tyres.
Close to 10%.
