Wanted radio cassette player

Looking for an original radio for the L reg S1,5 that I have. It came with a tacky Sony face off CD player and while you can't see it with the fold down cover I think it shouldn't be there.

So would like to replace it with an original if anyone has a spare, cheap as possible please.

I have one that works but the display doesn't light up.think it needs as bulb. Fiver plus postage?

Anyone know if L reg S1.5 and M S2 had the same radio cassettes? Would just like to keep it original.

No, all series 2's got Phillips radios.
Late series 1's got Clarion PU-9358A radios.

I'll be heading up to Wales via Loughborough in the next week or so which takes me through Stoke on Trent if that's anywhere near you. Do you know if it's a Philips or Clarion?

I'm in Stoke on Trent, ST6. It's a Phillips but i'll have to double check to confirm.
