Managed a few hours on the XM today. Engine plummed back in, bolted in place.. drive shafts in.. new accumilator sphere fitted... rads fitted .. water in with 3.5 litres of anti freeze, not sure if thats enough or not.

Ran up to temp.. all ok.

Here is, I hope a THIRD start, the first two were used for bleeding the fuel system up. So effectically a "First Start".. Bear in mind theres no inlet manifold fitted here... (CLICK image to View vid)

So, wednesday, headlight surround to fit, front bumper to fit, final check over and try for another MOT on her.

So, the general run down that what has been done.

Front Disks and Pads.
Rear pads
Rear spheres
Free up rear suspension linkage rod.
Rear end of exhaust
New Clutch
New Multi layer steel gasket
Swapped off side caliper due to siezing on
New Cam belt and Water Pump
New Altinator belt
New HP Pump belt
New Regulator sphere
Welded both out riggers at the front
Checked rear subframe pipe work, all looked well and been sprayed with Spray Underseal
Remove Dash, to free up heater air flow flaps now lovly and free.
New heater matrix
Replaced right Hand display (Clock) for a non bleeding LCD Clock

The upshot of all this is ive enjoyed dooing all this but wont get the pleasure of trying it all out for long. However, I should feel confidant that she should give the new onwer some good service.
