Well if you keep improving like this, really won't be too long before your rebuilding and swapping engines like Paul!

Fantastic Jim. The improvement is quite amazing, considering only a couple of weeks. Ago you were doing three lengths. I bet you're chuffed to bits. And that lecture the doctor made, sounds like complete sense to me. How interesting.

No, I'll never equal Paul as he's some 25 or more years younger than me Russ. He's a good target to aim at thoughruss92xmsed wrote: Well if you keep improving like this, really won't be too long before your rebuilding and swapping engines like Paul!
The other thing I'm determined to do is to post on here and the FCF every day. Another thing the doctor said was that however crap you feel you must keep doing things and never give in.
I've found that if you don't read and post in the forums for a few days it's almost impossible to catch up again and tat paradoxically, in me at least, causes unwanted stress.

Re: CitroJim's ES9 V6 Exclusive
It's looking good, another busy and manic week ends and I'm still here feeling quite chirpy and chipper.
I've started well at my aim to read and post on both forums at least once a day, even today where I've just popped home from work for a breather before returning and working on late into this evening.
I'm also likely to be working tomorrow morning as well..
It's a stiff test and if I post on Sunday we'll know I've passed it...

Hopefully not for long. I'm still reasonably lively after all of that and that's good..
Going to seriously need to rest later today and tomorrow though...
Already made a loaf of bread this morning..
Going off topic somewhat and speaking of the XM, I took it to work last night and on previous trips out I've been noticing my LH display loose ever more lines until it was more or less unreadable. Last night almost all lines are good and the best it's ever been
Explain that one...

I have more or less the same. One or 2 vertical lines normally fail when I start the car. They tend to kick into life during the ride. I guess the conductive glue that holds the ribbonconnector on the pcb is failing and depending on humidity and temperature it is still just good enough to work.....

Re: CitroJim's ES9 V6 Exclusive
That sounds very likely Gerrie. I keep meaning to have the display in bits and have a look at it but it's very low priority and I'm not very good at micro electronics like that. I may well make it a lot worsefurriegurrie wrote:I guess the conductive glue that holds the ribbonconnector on the pcb is failing and depending on humidity and temperature it is still just good enough to work.....
