I spotted these recon serve motors on leboncoin with machined brass gears.

He's selling either 2 gears alone for eu55, or 1 motor with 2 upgraded gears for eu80.

For the XM 3 identical motors are listed. What's the difference between the 2 motors listed for sale; left and right?

service.citroen only lists 644764 for the recirculation control, I can't see a listing for a temperature regulation motor (I presume that there is one), maybe citroen did not sell them as a separate spare part?

Re-reading the advert more carefully, I see that the recon assemblies are only for peugeot 405 and 406, and for other models he sells only the gears.

The Citroen part list shows reduction gear 6447 64, 3 of them. For hot/cold, air flow direction, fresh/recirculate. All three identical. So far I have replaced 2 of these servos and can confirm only 6447 64 is used for all three functions.
