S2 V6 XM For Sale

Post by CitroJim » Sun Nov 03, 2013 2:39 am

My XM is up for sale. I can no longer run three cars for a variety of reasons, one being financial and one of the others being lack of time to be able to maintain three cars to an adequate standard.

You all know my XM so any description here is pointless. If you want to know anything more read my blog and get in touch.

MOT and tax is out early in the New Year. It'll need welding for the MOT on the front of the OS sill.

Apart from that the car is more or less spot-on. Only known fault is a few segments missing from the LH display.

In view of the welding requirement, I'm open to offers.

Some spares will be thrown in as part of the deal.

Thanks.
Jim

Wrong interior for me, but for most the most desireable S2 car to have.

Would be very nice with a LPG injection kit on it..

It would Paul but really it's not bad without it. Fuel economy for what it is really is not bad.

I was talking to a neighbour with a 1.4 Fiesta last evening and they get similar, as does Robyn in her 207...

35 on a run is the norm.

Sorry for your loss of XM fun, Jim. Why don't you put some pics up, so people can warm up to your V6? Those xantia's of yours must be stunningly good, my 10 years of xantia driving is a long gone memory now. I should have bought an XM earlier:) 35mpg is impressive! Good luck with the sale!

Thanks Jaap.

Firstly I'm useless at taking pictures and secondly, everyone knows what a silver XM looks like :D

If someone who's talented wanted to take some pictures then I'd be very happy ;)

Yes, I must confess both Xantias are a bit special. The Activa is a very rare S1 winter pack with all the options and the V6 is still quite low mileage and both are very tidy.

I can't pretend to any talent, but I would be quite happy to make the immense journey to North Bucks to snap it for you Jim - it is a lovely looking beastie.

When the weather forecast is a bit more attractive, I'll get in the car Jim!
