Good idea, Russ.

I like A and C but feel the model list on C is superfluous.

I feel a poll coming on...
Agree with comments on 'C' - I'd be happy to let the fluff go.

Hi Russ

I would prefer it to be a bit simpler.
Try a square one with the Citroen Cheverons centre top (white no border)
Large white XM across the centre (separate Mk1 & Mk2 stickers).
Web address across the bottom.
Plain black background.
The square could then be half the area you propose.

On the point you mention about the other club-xm please remember they are the original club-xm.
For that reason I do not think you should use club-xm on the sticker other than as part of the web address.

John

I like them all but prefer the designs of the square ones, on the round stickers. :) Not that I like to complicate anything.......but the tax discs on the green Isle are not being abandoned. Just wondering how the police can now check, all computerized and with camera's?

B here! Excellent idea to replace the tax disc with it! Hopefully my XM centre holder will peel off cleanly enough for me to clean the screen behind it and re-stick it further into the corner!

Cor...thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. At the moment I think it might be between C and D. I think a poll might be a good idea, but maybe reserve it for when we have two designs to choose from.
I am fully aware that 'design by committee' never works...so what ever the final design is...it needs too look good, and not cluttered and not a dogs dinner. What I will do, is test my designs in the windscreen of my XM and post the pics... that might help with some decision making.

John..I will mock up your idea and see what it looks like. One concern I have is I don't really want to produce two versions for mk1 and mk2 cars. The forum is a community for all versions of the XM, so to have both represented on one sticker includes everyone together.....if you see what I mean. ;)
I don't know how to approach the Club-XM issue. I am very aware that the .com was the original and .uk is was the temporary replacement...but its .uk thats now the most popular one. But if it means removing or moving the 'club' bit from the design then thats easy. It is a little frustrating they are called the same!

Would XM Club work better I wonder.....

Jaap, our tax discs are going, but everything is now computerised and the paper disc is simply now surplus to requirements. So you're quite right cameras, DVLA and police will monitor your car tax.
Glad the idea of replacing the tax disc with this Club Xm sticker is going down well though.

I might offer two shapes, of the final design if there is enough of you wanting the round shape. There is also no reason why I cant do bespoke versions of the final design if you wanted a letter box style version.
But I warn you they will be more expensive.

In the mean time I will produce Johns idea. I have an idea of fusing C and D together. I will also post up a de-cluttered C design too. So watch this space!
