Ah I see, it was definately a BlackBerry.
Blanking off the EGR on a 2.5 isn't too bad, once you've worked out have to get the clip off via the right wheel arch.

citroenxm wrote:Hdi to xm.. I have it all here ready.. got the donor xantia a hdi 110 8 v .. and got an xm to receive. The twitch is the gearbox.. but I reckon with a 2.5 manual pedal box for the hydraulic clutch we be flying along. I was still hoping to be first to do it.. but I guess I won't be..
Why not just keep the XM's box Paul...the guy on youtube had stuck the later 16v 2lt Hdi on the XM's box and said it was a straight fit...surely the 8v is the same...just stick the 110 HDi in...you can deal later with other boxes if needed...? Is this not the simplest way?

Ideally though for the hdi you want a higher ratio'd box to take advantage of the new engines low boost point and better cruising torque at normal motorway speeds, ideally about 1400-1600rpm at 65mph so at the legal limit it's just on boost when and ready when you need it for a hill if carrying weight
