The FCF and BXC are down...

Off topic chat about anything you like. Doesn't have to be about XMs (though they will inevitibly come up!). You can even discuss non-Citroens :o in here!

The FCF and BXC are down...

Post by CitroJim » Wed Jan 15, 2014 7:45 am

..whilst the servers move house..

The outage was to be only for a few hours but sadly the service provider got their dates mixed up and the new Internet provision did not happen as planned.

The host has moved the servers to a temporary location and normal service on both forums is hoped to be restored later today..

We apologise for the inconvenience but the real fault lies with the ISP on this occasion... It is a sorry tale...

Is it (FCF) changing DNS's regularly or something? I've got notifications of private messages but can only sporadically "find" the forum - using two unlinked ISPs.

The FCF is back. I don't know how long it was down; kept flushing the DNS cache and trying again, but then went to work for a few hours and it came on again...

If Jim is reading this (Unless he's already aware), the FCF/BXC forums are both currently down for whatever reason :?:
