It's a kind of biscuit made of these ingredients:
350g Porridge oats;
75g Golden Syrup;
225g Demerara Sugar
225g Butter;
and 75g Sultanas.
Melt the butter in a large pan over a low heat, add the demerara sugar and golden syrup and heat until a nice thick syrup is achieved. Remove from heat, stir in the oats and sultanas.
When well mixed transfer to a greased and lined baking tray, a big one, spreading the mixture out in it to a depth of a centimetre or so.
Bake at Gas Mark 3 for 40 minutes until golden. Do not over bake and rotate the tray to ensure even baking.
Let cool for ten minutes, turn out of the tray onto a board and cut into squares with a sharp knife.
Then enjoy
For a change replace the sultanas with cranberries.
