I wonder if there are any campsites nearby?

Here is a campsite just four miles from Cosford that looks rather nice Mark and they even have pods!! The cost for one person and a tent is £8 per night.

Excellent. Thanks Matthew. It's a Camping and Caravanning Club site as well. Discounts apply. :-)

20th and 21st of September is the only date I can't do! I can still arrange it for then if everyone else can go though.

I can do Saturday the 27th if that's of any use?

For me any of those dates are fine. Gives me time to sort my wheels out too. :D Camping site looks fantastic, I wonder if a deal can be done with the site for future rallies maybe. ;) something to investigate maybe.....but bare in mind guys, even early September is bloody freezing in a tent if anyone wants to camp there.

In the last two years CXM was free, and generously funded by Patrick. By the looks of it I think Cosfords prices are nothing to worry about! perfectly happy to pay a fee if it means a good meet up.

I'm a Camping and Caravanning Club member. It might be worth ringing up and negotiating a group discount. I could bring the caravan.

Just wondering if anybody fancied a convoy drive on the Saturday. Blists Hill is worthy of a visit, as is Ironbridge Gorge. http://www.ironbridge.org.uk/our-attrac ... rian-town/

That is a great shame you cannot manage 20/21 Sept Tim, but I think any later could make camping less appealing and I think 6/7 might clash with the CCC Midland for some. The group discount on the camping and convoy both sound very appealing! Any more thoughts on the dates as I guess we need to act fairly quickly and book!! Regards, Matthew T.

Ok then, which day do we want then, Saturday the 20th or Sunday the 21st?

Also how many cars do you think will be expected?

Is the Stratford rally taking place? No mention of it in the 'Events' section of the CCC website.
