Its £3.50 per car per day. You cant stay on site overnight though so that will be an additional expense for anyone wishing to camp the night on a local site.

I may be able to sneak in for a couple of hours on one of the days.

We need a point of contact and someone to be in charge for Cosford to liase with and we will need to have a marshal or two in high viz vests to meet and direct any arrivals to the correct area. Any volunteers?

Yes, thats the right Cosford!

It was thinking of prehaps like before CX too.. love them aswell.. Cxm was always catchy and of course Xantias are always welcome.

This is great!

I'm sorry, Russ, but how are the CCC being difficult?

I'm really struggling to see how the CCC are being difficult at all...

As I've outlined in my last post, there was a call for volunteers and with the majority of the attendees at the CXM being that of XMers and Xantia'ers Dom and I hoped that when volunteers were asked for that the XMers and Xantia'ers would come forwards...unfortunately not so...

There was also mention previously on here and in the Citroenian calling XM (and also Xantia) owners and enthusiasts to come forwards to possibly create a section/group to organise that of some meets for the XMs (and Xantias)...

I'm still rather confused as to how the CCC is being difficult about this. Is this the club as a whole? A section? One individual? I'm really rather intrigued to know...

Personally from my point of view, if anything it's the XM (and Xantia) owners and enthusiasts being difficult by not volunteering, however still wishing there to be a show/rally/meetup...
You seem to have been a lonely voice here Franklin. Organising an event takes a lot of time and effort and I'm as guilty as the next in not having given that. I've got and had my own reasons, as I'm sure all have or think they have.

Once again I will say thanks for your and the other organisers of past events.

I agree.

If we intend to pay for a facility for a day, why not pay for the use of Little Horwood for the weekend?

I'm booking Cosford, but need to post a letter back to them for confirmation.

Are we agreed on the dates and venue? I don't want to upset anyone who wanted it elsewhere, plus I need to know how approximately how many will attend. I will be a bit pointless if 2 or 3 show up!
