mk1 2.0i on a G plate up for grabs lots of spars too......

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Hi all
I'm not greedy so open to offers. I know scrap is around 200 as i can drive it to the scappy.
I will post photos next week as i'm away this weekend in hereford.

Just so you can get a feel for the car.

head lining has been replaced ( i will get photos of this)
New clutch was fitted about 30000 miles ago (I brought car @ 107000 it is now on 144047)
new cam belt and pump fitted in the last 3 year (should have paper work for this)
new ignition and lock set fitted
recon lhm pump + accum sphere been on hydroflush for two years, now on fresh lhm
new main feed pipe to pump
new tyres all round ( only been driver for about 5000 )
brake dosser has had a new diaphram
new wind screen wiper motor
I have new diss cap, arm and coil for furture needs
k&n fillter fitted save on the throw away fillers
spares, lots, including all new cables - speedo, clutch, accelerator, roof racks, lights, switches etc etc.

hope this helps

chris

ps she is not perfact, work will need to be done on the dash - cracking in places and the heating/air flaps have become stiff. (stepper motor works fine) body work is good with a little rust at the bottom of the front wheel archs where the water runs out from the wind screen. The paint work is ok for a 24+ year old

Paul, you are right. obviously I would prefer an automatic but such an early car at this price is not to be sniffed at.

i know this is a really sad question but does anyone know the colour?

I wouldn't be worried about the colour and a manual is preferable in the 2.0i, even with the BE3 gearbox, as the auto is a bit lethargic.

The warranty started on 1st Jan 1990, so I suspect that was when the car was registered.

If I hadn't already got two diesels as projects, I would be interested in this, that way I would be replicating both my XM from new purchases, a 2.0i and a 2.1TD.
