It has been tried with mixed results but basically does not work well with curves!! The price of the part is not that bad compared to the £120 odd charged by Citroen as I recall. With regards, Matthew T.

I bought both front and rear trims from Citroën main dealer in 2012 for £75 each + vat. IIRC, Rob bought the remaining stock off Citroën UK.

The side chrome strips when bought new came complete with the background plastic of course and most people replace with stainless steel. Regards, Matthew T.

I would love to try the chrome vinyl wrap they use to wrap whole cars.. The chrome strips would have to be prepped so they aren't bumpy mind you, but at least it will go round the corners.
