Hi guys,
I cant think of the name of this rough type stuff that is used to smooth over jointwork on the inner wings near the strut tops. I need to replace some as its cracked so ive removed it... its slightly flexible when removed...almost like perhaps half hardened chewing gum....or dried blue tac....any ideas?

Seam sealer or PU adhesive/sealer seems to be the only stuff I can find...If that's universally agreed with then I reckon I could find something to try to recreate the mottled look finish?

Not sure Johnathan really....I thought shutz was just for stone guarding sills etc?
Ive got some seam sealer stuff here at home, so once ive cleaned up the area and applied some Kurust, I reckon ill give it a go and see how it looks...I'll go steady so I get a good finish.
Now what to use to get a good textured finish?.....I think a sponge or rag applied when its almost dry should do it. See how I get on

i think shutz is basically a fast setting underseal,
the stuff in your picy is more the stone guard,
to get that texture it needs to start of pretty thick and sprayed on

A rag in a poly bag might give an appropriate finish.
