Thanks chaps for your kind words. I hadn't realised Paul the incident was on the radio. I suppose it was big enough to feature. It did manage to block the only lane waiting to get on to the A1 northbound and A14!!

I think Mark I was just so relieved to have the offer to buy another great car so quickly. Otherwise I would be very upset, I still am. Even Admiral who I spoke to again today were delighted! I have now declared it as a total loss to them by the way. It oddly took a bit of courage to take all my things out of it and put them in the new one. Sounds ridiculous, but I suppose it's just getting used to not having it anymore.

But yes, I will be doing a 'Paul' strip down, including those rear windows. I will hopefully be having some help at some point from a certian captain..

It was good to see you on the weekend Russ and once again what a really terrible experience to have your car written off!! I know you have been lucky to find another promising replacement so I guess it is best to focus on that, but nevertheless all very upsetting. Although I have experienced two incidents with relatively light damage through no fault of our own, fortunately only doors and wings needed to be changed. The main thing is that there was no serious injury to anyone involved. Hopefully you will get a decent insurance payment and I suppose a garage full of spares provides some further compensation!
