Well done for the further progress Dean and I am just reassembling my V6 auto back together after nearly two years so I know what you mean about the wiring etc.! Good luck with the rest of the project and it will be worth it in the end! With regards, Matthew T.

Hopefully not long till you can use those stickers Dean.

Great news about yours too Matthew, wondering what the situation was with that car. I assume you have done something with the autobox then.

Tha V6 box is looking good Matthew!
I struggled for an hour tring to get the front end back on, couldnt get it to line up with the rads, then i remembered i had put a brand new condenser on and the brackets where more substantial so a few bits of the frame had to be cut away, wondered why it wouldnt line up

evening gents

I am pleased to announce tthat for the first time in over 3 years, after 5 seconds of cranking the xm sprang into life and ran like a dream (where is the dancing, super happy smiley????)
The exhaust smells like its putting out warm steam and nothing else probably due to the new cat.
There is a small exhaust blow on the joint between the manifold and new cat but im hoping that will settle with a little wiggling and use.

Next on the list is to get the hydraulics back on line and the belt can go on the pump then.

Happy days!

I can also confirm the partially re built gearbox is also spot on now with the clunky N-R shift gone, just going to tackle that leaky exhaust joint now while the clear coat dries on the wings, its all go today!
