It was my first time at Stratford which was great fun despite the fairly modest turnout and quite erratic weather! I enjoyed meeting with several of the regular XM and BX crowd and other friendly Citroen enthusiasts, with much kind interest in the S1 24v! Despite the low numbers there were some really good quality cars including Ami, DS and BX that I especially admired. One chap called Richard (an Australian) had two 'H' plate 12v auto project cars and a conversation with the owner of the handsome black CX turbo was also fascinating. Other highlights for me were driving Kevin's GSA around the adjacent field and surveying the range of 2CV kit cars in attendance. With regards, Matthew T.

Nice pics Matthew.... And where is mine?!!

I have to say, I was quite taken by Darren's 2.5. There were some good cars, the BX next to my car was particularly lovely.

I see you singled out the 2 tone blue Lomax - That belongs to a mate of mine, John Sobey, and it's just been rebuilt. it was originally built in the early 90's so is the age of some of our cars in that form. As a result of the rebuild it's now running a Visa 652cc engine which apparently makes it go quite well. he's also had it painted to match his HY camper, which unfortunately he left at home this weekend.
