The main differences are hydractive 2 suspension ('normal' and 'sport' rather than 'auto' and 'sport' settings) and cosmetically the two spoke steering wheel and other S2 features sometimes creep in, like the later nosecone and mirrors. The initial changes were made during 1992 when the tct was first launched. With regards, Matthew T.

Matthew thanks. My xm has auto and sport .Also has a 2 spoke steering wheel.
I take it its a 1994 s1 then

Yes it is clearly a late S1 Paul and if you can confirm the RP number (four digits inside lh front door post) the actual build date can be checked. Regards, Matthew T.
