I have finally finished undersealing the back of the car.

It's all neat and tidy and all rust has been treated. Well I say that but there's probably some lurking somewhere....
It was also the opportunity to tackle the spare wheel carrier. So here it is being rust converted.
And with finished stone chip paint and fresh underseal.
I saved it in the nick of time I think, I am finding a lot of this on this car at the moment!! The underseal was doing its best to detach itself and rust was bubbling up on the inside of the tray. But really overall it was in quite good condition.
So now it's all treated, it was put back onto the car this afternoon.
I have also started to move up towards the front. The drivers side sill has now been sorted out underseal wise. The hydraulic pipes on the other side have been gunked and I have oiled the innards of the rear subframe. Sills next for that job.
I swapped over my fuel filter housing from my old grey car last week, as it was almost brand new. And that has helped with the cold start a bit. It seems to be idling much happier now too, although I think the pump could do with tweaking maybe.
I think I have also found an urgent job to do. The drivers foot well is damp. I can't smell coolant or the usual curry smell, but some investigations tomorrow will mostly likely find a leaky heater matrix. URGH!
