Hi Peter,
In the title you've stated that this E-bay listing is for a 'Late Model' I'd say its more likely to be a MK1 though than a MK2 !

If you take another look at the sellers listing, it can easily be seen in the photos the following features (unless someone's changed them out ) :-

a) A two point mounted rear spoiler.
b) The 'Black Finish' windscreen scuttle and square type door mirrors.
c) The front nose-cone/grill design and and offset chevrons.

Also the seller seems a bit 'Puddled' in what there advertising as they've stated so much ambiguity in the listing too

1998 or 2000 may have been the actual year it was FIRST registered in the UK rather the the MY

.. the bonnet chevron off to one side and and square door mirrors, You are quite right, I believed the description, didn't pay much attention to the pictures. If it was a 2000 Mk 1 it should be worth a fortune.

That's an early Series 1, note the grey scuttle trim and bumpers.

I suspect the advert is generic and the seller doesn't really know what they have as it's a personal import.

Shame it's been ruined by fitting a sunroof.
