I've been blessed so far with a perfect starting Diesel, all the time. That's why I don't look at glow plugs, even though they've been running for quite some mileage.

A little improvement. 8-)

It's not leather unfortunately. I might have it trimmed in leather if possible. But that won't be for a long while yet.
It's quite strange going from a twin spoke to a single spoke. So much more space and buttons. I can see them. YEY!

What a pity there wasn't a single spoke wheel with airbag for the S2...

agreed, the trouble with the MK1 is the dash is designed for the single spoke wheel, later two spoke designs dont work well with the dash layout at all as you notice when going back to a single spoke. Not such an issue on the MK2 models designed for the different wheel but it is a very Citroen design key.

Very significant improvement on the Mandarin, after all the XM is the grand daughter of the DS! Good idea to go for it.

Well done Russ and you will never go back to the two-spoke even for the leather! With regards, Matthew T.

It just looks so much better. Even the join in the plastic cowling behind the wheel matches the join that runs down the switch panel on the wheel. Strangely satisfying!

Well I'm happy to report, I love driving with the single spoke. It is soooooooo much nicer than the twin.
Somehow to me, it feels a tad smaller than the twin spoke wheel, but of course it isn't. It just adds something special to the car. Love it. :D

I replaced the squealing hydro belt with a new one today too. So hopefully that's the end of that. ;)

The single spoke just suits the car better. Maybe it's the design of the dash or Citroen's heritage, but it just looks right.

The car was designed with the single spoke wheel, the twin spoke one was just to update it...which means, reduce supply chain costs for a low production vehicle.
