Yes I have Rob, my grey XM had a good catch and the mandarin had a working gas strut, so two make one good one.

I can't get enough of the single spoke.

I did a very difficult and cold job on the XM this morning....... Replaced the coolant reservoir cap!
It was a challenge.

Found the old one had a split in it, which my spare certianly didn't. So swapped em.

Also been trying out Will's hair conditioner tip for the leather, albeit this time it's Pantene proV!
Seems to work very well.

Good move.. The 24v has a standard single spoke leather wheel...

Ive got a spare single spoke leather one, but its ... priceless.... un-valueable...

Six months and a bit, and I have finally had the last cheque and the official letter to say my claim for the accident I had in my poor old grey XM in July last year, is now finally closed. Over and done with.

I am happy with the result, but had to fight for it. The law side of admiral was very good indeed, but the policy side was quite unreasonable and basically told lies. So I'm left slightly conflicted as to wether I would have a policy with them again.
The dragging out was due to finding who was to blame. And it was the white van that dangerously got between me and the lorry that hit it who was found at fault.
So all sewn up and can move on.... Finally!

Yeah, cars value was the issue, no surprises there really.

, but that was sorted out last year with a satisfactory out come, I got £1400 for it after a ridiculous £75 initial offer.
The compensation, claiming back excess, losses ect on the law side took the time.
