Rare 3 litre 24 valve on Ebay from WHM

I have a complete set of the original launch manuals as supplied to dealers in 1989. There are only a handful of updates in the folders. They definitely cover V6 engines but since I don't have one I have never ventured too far into those bits.

I will have a look to see how much coverage there is of the 24V (if any!). Not sure how similar the 24V and 12V engines were?

Happy to supply well scanned copies if they look promising.

Bottom end appearance is same.. they are both single cam and chain driven they both have a front balance shaft..

inlet manifolds are different.. heads obviously are different but the 24v features a sainless manifold with 6 to 1 pipe arrangements. . Those are the obvious differences.. a 24v front rocker cover will fit a 12v ... and vice versa.

Different injection ecu and different wiring harness... after the head ache a 24v has given me recently I know the system almost inside out..

simmilar wireing layout idea in operation but harnesses are not compatible.

theres a single oygen sensor on the 12v and single cat where the 24v has three smaller cats. One off the front bank and two at back.. in theroy the front bank has two in its line.. the exhausts are a twin pipe line up to the sideways box on the 24v where the 12v front manifold and rear manifold join at the rear and its a single pipe right through.

OK. Found the wiring diagram for the V6 and associated key.
How do you want me to get it to you? Not sure which engine but suspect 12V.
Diagram too big to scan in one pass but happy to take quality photo?
