I have not wrapped the thin trims as yet, just doing all of the vertical trims but i may well do those when the car is finished as they are very time consuming to do and i coul use that time to better affect at the moment.

Patiently waiting for B&Q to open this morning, wanted to extend the indicator loom last night and get the nose cone on for the last time, trouble was my soldering iron died in a puff of smoke which stopped play.........which was annoying.
All the body panels and trim are back on now, I've just got to make a couple if lower wing clips from stainless sheet and finish wrapping then trims on the drivers side, then I need to get a battery, put the wheel arch liners back on the front.

Waiting for some under shield fixings to arrive and a some CV boots, once that's all done it will be time to have the first proper drive in 4 years up the lane, then its not time. The tear drop trims above the rear quarter lights need paint but that can wait until warmer weather arrives.

The last bit to finish the interior is going to be a double din stereo, the other one got fitted into the L200 the day I picked it up as its radio was a bit rubbish, anyone else fitted a double din unit to the xm? I've been eyeing up the appradio which will replace the sat nav that was on the dash and DVD play in the glove box, they do fetch good money though, the alternative is a Chinese unit but they are not the best quality which puts me off.

Moog says mandarin callipers are good for 30kw, he must be talking at the flywheel, there is no way its making an extra 30wkw! Feels more like 20...........

Didn't know there were mcm fans here Russ

Secret fan.... :) I like the humour. Just wish they would upload more!! They clearly have news cars now, so it's almost agonising waiting to see what they are. Japanese most likely.

Well if Moog is right, best get some mandarin paint and do mine. MAAAAAAAAD!
