Been a bit warm here...

Post by White Exec » Fri Jul 24, 2015 5:07 pm

Took a trip up to the lake at Iznajar yesterday, enjoying the AC's ability to produce a lovely 22degC while it was somewhat warm outside.

Didn't really clock just how warm it was until we opened the doors and were greeted with....43degC  !

The cooling system behaved perfectly, with an indicated 90C, even at 120km/h. Perfect. :)

I'd stay inside the car, thought it rather warm here with about 17degC and cooling showers ;) So now you know I don't need AC here..

Its supposed to be warm here, I've had the fire alight today :( The only time we have ever flown was from Exeter to Alancanti and I was really looking forward to feeling the heat when we go out of the plane, when we left Exeter it was 14C and sunny, when we arrived in Spain it was 14C and raining! It was cold for most of the week and I don't like the cold. :x

Spent 5 months near Ronda in 93 in CX Gti Auto. Aircon packed up after a month-I remember 43 degrees well! Air still, no breath....it's warmer than blood temperature-you drive just to create a breeze!

Know that feeling well. Towed a caravan across Portugal and Spain in the late 90s with our non-AC BX19RD. Hit 44degC in north central Spain. You don't sweat....just poach in your own juices! Happy days...
