Not sure about photo bucket as I don't use it but if you use your mod powers to enter my post under the edit function you can see what part of the video I'd you need to copy in.

The YouTube embed function only works if you put in the 10 character video ID from the YouTube URL, after v=, between opening and closing YouTube tags.

Think I explained it better here.

If you're having trouble with it just let me know.

As Dean says, if you edit his post you'll see the video ID placed between the two YouTube tags, like this:

Code: Select all

I really must get round to rewriting it so its smart enough to parse the entire URL, saves people having to manually isolate the 10 characters.

Depends on your device too Ciarán, when I had a real puter YouTube gives the tag for embedding in the vid description so is easy to grab, now I have a tablet and only have access to YouTube via the app they don't actually give you the id tag on its own, I have to pull it out of the full link.

If you have the original red/pink coloured relay i would try re-soldering the internal connections. The solder joints can crack (as mine did) which stops the relay operating. Relay is located somewhere below the steering column IIRC.

Ah, that's how YouTube links are supposed to work. I always wondered.

I have the relay, but when I removed it it was full of water! I'll have another look at it as it may be salveagable (and I'll be amazed if I spelt that last word correctly!)

I can't get excited about headlamp washers, and I'm not just saying that because my SX is too povo to have them.

Headlamp wipers on the other hand...

I notice from your youtube channel you seem to have a thing for headlamp wipers, very 80's!
To be honest i dont see the point in washers only, spraying water at something doesnt clean it after all, those Saab wipers are brilliant though, they look like they would actually work. I can remember as a child marveling at headlamp wipers on my dads Volvo estate.
