Ministerial Choice

Interesting to see Cameron and Hollande stepping out of a ministerial car this morning in Paris. The black C6 remains the choice for the French President, which is either an economy measure, or else a somewhat sobering reflection on "the best that Citroen can offer", having not been made since 2012.

My guess is that Peugeot doesn't quite cut the mustard, and also breaks with a long, long double-chevron tradition. What are the bets that an aide hasn't sent a brief note to Citroen at some point?

This is a good thing. The DS5 is simply not fit for purpose.

None of the French three make a good ministerial car now really. Maybe the new Renault Talisman kind of gets close.
The new DS large saloon slated for only china, might be used in the future, if it happens at all.
