Hi Liz, fantastic to see you on here. I have found Jaap's old blog on Turby in the members cars section, and bumped it up to the top for you to find. If you have any issues with the car, then you can post them there.

Hi all, I have tried to jumpstart Turby with the other xm, black lead on neutral, red on the plus side, started the other xm and kept it running for nearly 30 minutes. Still no spark from Turby..I think it is time for a new battery? And what do I have to reset after changing the battery? Thanks, Liz

It possibly is time for a new battery, but I would have expected the jump start to work after a long connection time, although once had a dead Xantia battery that refused to jump start. Did you raise the revs of the petrol car a bit to boost the voltage and was the starter motor of Turby-D actually spinning over reasonably quickly, if so, the problam lies elsewhere, such as glow plugs not working, air in the fuel system or running on Veg oil on cold weather.

Was there any smoke from the exhaust?

Other than the clock, there shouldn't be any resetting to do.
