Selling off one (or bits

) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

As title listing spotted on
E-BAY needs some TLC and maybe a head-gasket, Radiator or Heater matrix replacement ?
Also another auto too

so I don't think this will even get to the sellers 'BIN' price of £250 , Only one poor photo too,
On the plus side for this one is that its taxed to the end of December and is MOT'd to sometime in June 2010

An XM if for life, (Not just for Christmas) !

I got quite excited about that one until I spotted the dreaded word 'automatic'

Go on Peter get it, fix it up, and drive it to the auto-box fails.
It would make a nice easy project for someone (provided that it doesn't have Head Gasket failure).

An auto box and a head gasket is a bridge to far.

And it will be the gasket, I've had to many!

Peters got enough 2.1td's!!
What about someone who HASN'T got a 2.1 td.... like me! I wanted the manual but it has gone too much now... however, this 2.1 would look good with a set of alloys, and a leather interior!

IMHO the turbodiesel suits the auto gearox. It does make it a bit slower and noisier, but the drive is nicer, the box just rides along on the engines torque.

I agree with Dieselman, the autobox on the 2.1 TD is superb. Lovely and smooth, and so effortless. Bit slow in first until the turbo kicks in then you're in business.
2.1TD would make a good daily runner for you Paul.
