Rare 3 litre 24 valve on Ebay from WHM

All prv 24s after late 1991 have the mod from factory so it was only H reg and possibly early J reg cars that had issues.. i paid 380 delivered for mine about 12 years ago.. And i have 128k on mine too... ive another full car same colour as mine minus its engine so im good for spare body panels.. (chassis floor shot) ..

If you really want a spare engine get one from France. The engines don't care which side of the road they drive on.

I was thinking that £500 max is a more realistic price for a spare 24v engine and I doubt either of my complete cars is worth £2,500! I wonder if anyone else has 'The Worst Cars Ever Sold', which I am sorry to confirm does include the Talbot Tagora!! Regards, Matthew T.

The tagora was an illl fate yes.. but an interesting option for psa.. chrysler had already developed and designed and started on the tagora when they sold out to psa for a dollar... they didnt really need the car as they had the cx and 505 .. but.. as the car had then cost psa nothing to develop they pressed on by opted to use 504/505 running gear .. which was a narrower car then the tagora.. incedentally the 2.2 4 cylinder engine was not a douvrin 2.2 ohc engine and was the older simca ohv engine simmilar to one used in the 205 rally group b car without the turbo...

True. Only the capacity was the same as the PSA unit.

Peugeot bought Talbot for two reasons. 1. to remove a competitor from the market and 2. to gain access to the smaller models, which were reasonable sellers.

Peugeot only bought the Rootes Group, not Chrysler. Talbot was a longstanding marque within the Rootes group. Talbot was first selling cars in 1903.
