Hello all
Last autumn I purchased my second XM; a 1997 Break with 2,1td and a leaking Lucas Epic fuel pump... I had quite big problems with this pump until I found pbrink on this forum who kindly fixed my spare pump (that was also leaking).
Now, the car is at last ready for the road; it has been MOT'ed and the only thing that stops me from driving it is the idler pulley for the multirib belt... This will arrive on tuesday the 10th.
I am in Sweden and I am looking forward to using this car as a daily driver.

Great project and it is such a good timing with summer coming. The 2.1 TD is actually a great choice for daily use. Nice to hear another XM being saved and put back into regular service. Hopefully the new pulley solves the last issue and you can finally start putting some kilometers on it.

Thank you for your reply, and sorry for my late feedback!!! I did not get any email notification of this and I am sorry to say I am not here everyday.
Yes, my XM is now up and running, mainly thanks to pbrink on this forum... Huge thanks to him!
The pulley is now changed, and it works! I think the only real problem with my previous pulley was the bolt holding it in place, it was loose. I changed it nevertheless, the other one is a spare one for very rainy days.
Hope to see more of these cars and their owners this summer!
